Grade Calculation

Required courses that are failed will be repeated until a passing grade is earned. The 2 F Rule is in place. If any two grades within the semester average are F’s, the semester average is an automatic F, even if the average is higher than 59 percent. Example: 1st 9 wks - F, 2nd 9 wks - A, Final Exam - F, Semester Average - F.

Grade Point Average

These important averages are used in qualifying for scholarships, class rank, and academic or technical honors diplomas. This calculation begins the first semester of high school.

Grade Requirements for Sports & Extra-Curricular Activities

Students must be enrolled full-time and have passed five credited subjects. Audited classes, being an aide, and study halls do not count toward the five credited subjects.
