Computer Programs for Home Use
North Judson-San Pierre Elementary School offers computer programs for use at home by students and parents throughout the year. These are available through the internet, but do vary by grade. Students are encouraged to use these sites outside school; parents may view the programs and student reports to see how their children are doing.- BrainPOP and BrainPOP Jr. (K-5) offer educational games and videos. Topics include science, health, writing, reading, social studies, and math. Students do not have individual logins. BrainPop Jr (http://www.brainpopjr.com) is for K-3 students. BrainPop (http://www.brainpop.com) is for students in 1-5.
- Achieve3000 at https://portal.achieve3000.com (3-5) focuses on non-fiction comprehension. Reports are available for parents under the parent login, which is created using a code. Parents should contact their child’s teacher for directions and the code.
