Financial Aid/Scholarships

Financial Aid:

Families must use the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) from online to apply for
financial aid (grants, work-study, and loans) to pay for college or career schools.  Families should
go to the following site to apply:

At this site, parents can scroll down to find information on completeing the three steps in applying for financial aid.




Scholarships:




The International Cultural Exchange Services (ICES) sponsors the Global Impact Scholarship.  ICES is looking for Juniors and Seniors who value
the importance of cross-cultural understanding.  ICES will be awarding a $1000.00 scholarship to five worthy recipients.  The scholarship, with full details
can be downloaded from www.icesusa.org/globalimpact.com . The deadline to apply is May 1st.



Knights of Columbus Council #12486 Scholarship

This is a one-time $500.00 scholarship awarded to a senior who meets the following criteria:

- Graduating senior of North Judson - San Pierre Jr./Sr. High School

-  Practicing Catholic

-  Registered at either SS Cyril-Methodius Catholic Church or All Saints Catholic Church

-  Proof of acceptance to a post-secondary institution

George W. Burkett Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to benefit needy high school students of Starke county.  This year's scholarship is in the amount of $750.00.
This scholarship will be sent to the recipient's post-secondary school upon graduation.  The deadline to turn in the application is March 26, 2020, to Miss McCarthy.

Next Generation Hoosier Educator's Scholarship:


High School seniors interested in pursuing a career in education can apply for this scholarship through November 30th.
This renewable scholarship of up to $7500.00 each year for four academic years is awarded to as many as 200 students.
A teacher nominates an applicant, who will submit a nomination form with their application and complete an interview. 
Seniors must rank in the top 20% of their graduation class or earn a score in the top 20% on the SAT or ACT, attend a college in Indiana,
and teach in an Indiana classroom for five years after earning a degree.
